pdbooks.info has been designed to be of interest to two groups of people: First, people who want to find public domain and other freely available books online, and, second, people who digitize historic books and seek more information on possible copyright status of works and what has already been done. pdbooks.info, while still under development, lists 200,000 books, including over 50,000 with online versions. This is currently a small fraction of the estimated 2.5 million books freely available online, but more books are being added daily.
